Come avviene ogni anno, esattamente un giorno prima della cerimonia di consegna degli Oscar, la Golden Raspberry Award Foundation ha assegnato i premi ai peggiori film dell’anno, denominati Razzie Awards.
Se il film d’animazione della Sony, Emoji – Accendi le Emozioni, ha ottenuto il premio come peggior film, Cinquanta Sfumature di Nero ha ottenuto quello per peggior remake o sequel e peggiore attrice non protagonista (Kim Basinger). Baywatch, invece, si è aggiudicato il premio nella nuova categoria “Il candidato al Razzie così stroncato che finisci per amarlo”.
