La Focus Features ha posticipato la data d’uscita del sequel di Downton Abbey.
Il film, atteso per il 22 dicembre 2021, verrà rilasciato il 18 marzo 2022.
Nel cast torneranno Penelope Wilton, Joanne Froggatt, Jim Carter, Phyllis Logan, Brendan Coyle, Allen Leech e Tuppence Middleton.
Nel film saranno presenti quasi tutti i protagonisti della serie: Hugh Bonneville, Laura Carmichael, Jim Carter, Brendan Coyle, Michelle Dockery, Kevin Doyle, Joanne Froggatt, Matthew Goode, Harry Hadden-Paton, Robert James-Collier, Allen Leech, Phyllis Logan, Elizabeth McGovern, Sophie McShera, Lesley Nicol, Penelope Wilton, e il premio Oscar Maggie Smith. Al cast originale si aggiungono inoltre Imelda Staunton, Geraldine James, Simon Jones, David Haig, Tuppence Middleton, Kate Phillips e Stephen Campbell Moore.
